    Education and Training

Tracy earned her Master of Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and is currently a pre-licensed doctoral student in the Psy.D in Clinical Psychology program at Azusa Pacific University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biology from University of La Verne and her Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from West Coast University. As a doctoral student, her research is committed to advancing the field of perinatal mental health, particularly exploring the complexities of self-identity loss in motherhood to provide targeted support to mothers during this significant life transition. Her passion for this population drew her to ARC Counseling and Wellness.

Tracy is dedicated to building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy. She believes that this connection is the foundation for meaningful growth and change that can help clients throughout their personal journeys. With a person-centered and strength-based approach, Tracy integrates various evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies to support each client’s unique needs. Previously, Tracy spent her Doctoral Practicum Training at Azusa Community Counseling Center. She was responsible for conducting initial intakes which include diagnostic assessments and treatment interventions for children and adolescents. She supported clients dealing with ADHD, major depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem and self-identity issues, life transitions, grief and loss, and self-injurious behaviors. Some clinical modalities she used were exposure therapy, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness meditation. Through collaborative and holistic care, her goal is to create a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions, discover their inherent strengths, and build resilience to reach their full potential and heal.

When not in school, Tracy is a part of the Food for Life initiative at Kaiser Permanente, providing meals to Southern California families in need from San Bernardino County. Outside of supporting her client’s and serving the community, she enjoys daily exercise and mindfulness movement.
